You undertake that you are an adult when you start using the product/service. I. Personal Information and Use

Personal information means information recorded electronically or in other forms that can be used separately or in combination with other information to identify the identity of a specific natural person or indicate the activity of a specific natural person. Personal sensitive information includes ID card information, personal biometric identity information, bank account information, property information, whereabouts, transaction information, and personal information on children under the age of 14 (included). (I) Provision of the following core functions and services for you

1. Account login

For use of the Service and management of smart devices, we need to collect your following information: your user name, login password, nickname, and profile. The user name and password belong to personal sensitive information, which is collected for your login to the account server, authentication of the user identity, and permission of the App to access the server. We will use your personal information in the following way: the user name and login password authentication information you enter is encrypted and transmitted to the account server for login authentication, and the information you enter is not stored locally on the App or the server. If you do not provide such information and have no login account, you cannot use the Service. After you log in to the account, the Service automatically obtains the nickname and profile of the account and displays them on relevant pages.

2. Basic services for smart device management

To discover your smart device and connect it to WLAN network, the App needs to obtain the permission to access the location of your mobile phone, WLAN list, location information, and WLAN NID and WLAN password that you enter. The WLAN password belongs to personal sensitive information, which is collected to discover and connect the smart home device around you to the WLAN network. Such information is used locally only and is not uploaded to the server. To enable the binding, control and management of your smart device, we need to collect your following information: device name, model, version, manufacturer, serial number, device ID, MAC address, IP address, device health, custom attributes, parameter settings, and device control and usage records. Such information is collected to bind your smart device, control and manage the device, set device attributes and parameters, and view the device health and history. We will use your personal information in the following way: the said information is encrypted, transmitted to, and stored on the server, and the App queries data from the server with your authorization and displays data on the device page. If you do not provide such information, you cannot use the App to discover, bind, control, and manage your device.

3. Cloud services for smart devices

The following devices provide device services with multiple functions. For use of the services provided by the smart device you bind in the Service, we need to collect your following information: admin user name and password, MAC address, and IP address of the device connected to the router, IP address of the router, and visited URL. The admin user name and password belong to personal sensitive information and are stored on the device only, which are collected to authenticate login of the router, check the health, statistical reports, and the history of the router, and configure and manage the router. Health data collected by the App and other data that contains sensitive personal information is uploaded to the server only with your explicit authorization in the App. You can access the Advanced Settings page of the Service to unbind the smart device you have bound, and the Service stops collecting your data. If you do not provide such information, you cannot use the services provided.

4. Online problem feedback

For online feedback of service problems, we need to collect your following information: App and device logs, contact information, problem description, and pictures and videos of problems. Such information is collected to analyze and locate the causes of problems. Your contact information is collected to follow up problems and find out whether problems have been completely solved, or to contact you and request you to add other necessary information. We will use your personal information in the following way: we will use such information only to locate and solve problems instead of displaying personal information or pushing commercial advertisements. If you do not provide such information, we cannot effectively locate and solve the problems you feed back.

5. Business intelligence

To evaluate our service quality and improve the user experience, we need to collect your following information: App information (such as the App name, version, and time spent on the App), mobile phone information (mobile phone model and version), city, user ID, device ID, device list, device name, and device type. Such information is collected for your login to the account server, user identity authentication, and access to the server. The collected data will be used to evaluate the smart home service quality and improve the user experience. The collected data will not be used to generate user portraits or push commercial advertisements. If you do not provide such information, we cannot promptly evaluate our service quality and improve the user experience.

6. Upgrade of the smart device and the App

To upgrade the App version and the firmware version of the smart home device, we need to collect your following information: serial number of the device you have bound, device type, mobile phone model, application identifier, and version information. Such information is collected to identify and download new versions. If you do not provide such information, you cannot upgrade the App version and the firmware version of the device.

II. Your Rights as the Data Subject

To facilitate you to access, correct, and delete your personal information during the use of the Service and enable you to withdraw the license to use your personal information, we provide you with operation settings in the product design. You can follow the following operating guide.

You can view the device health and history on the page of the smart device you have bound, and view the device information on the Settings page, including the device name, device location, manufacturer name, MAC address, serial number, and device network information.

(2) Delete personal information

You can access the Advanced Settings page of the Service and unbind the smart device you have bound to remove it. You can uninstall the App or clear App data and clear App data stored locally.

(3) Update personal information

You can set device operation parameters and change device information on the page of the smart device you have bound and the Settings page of the device.

III. Data Storage Location and Period

(1) Data storage location \n Personal information collected and generated by us under the Service will be stored in the territory of the People's Republic of China.

(2) Data storage period

We will retain your personal information only for a period necessary for the purpose, and delete or anonymize your personal information upon expiration of the said retention period, unless otherwise required by laws and regulations. For the Service, the specific retention period of your personal data is as follows: For data stored locally on the smart home App, when you uninstall the App or clear App data, all stored data will be deleted immediately. For service logs, statistics, and the history stored on the server, we will delete them when we clean up the server data from time to time. In addition, when our products or services stop running, we will notify you by push notification or announcement, and delete or anonymize your personal information within a reasonable period.

IV. How Is This Statement Updated

We will regularly review our privacy policy and may update this privacy policy to include changes in our information. In the event of material changes to this privacy policy, we will update the App or notify you in the App, so that you can know the information we collect and how we use it. We suggest that you visit this website regularly for the latest information on our privacy practices. Your continued use of products and services on the website, your mobile phone and/or any other devices will be deemed as acceptance of the updated privacy policy. When we collect additional personal information from you or we wish to use or disclose your personal information for new purposes, we will obtain your consent again. This statement shall take effect from the date of update.
